New Gripper Frame

This upgrade features a servo-driven gripper rotation system, ensuring precise and consistent operation without mechanical play. By replacing the older mechanical system, it enhances accuracy, reduces wear, and minimizes maintenance needs, resulting in smoother and more reliable performance for your production process.

New Pusher and Frame Positioning

This Profinet-controlled upgrade significantly improves pusher frame positioning, accuracy, and speed regulation. By adjusting position and speed every 10 milliseconds, it ensures smooth, precise movements, even when processing the last piece of each block. Unlike hydraulic systems, performance remains stable and unaffected by oil temperature variations.

Add Intelligent Block Saw

The Eltomatic operates best with precisely cut blocks. The Eltomation Intelligent Block Saw and Log Measurement System ensures optimal log utilization by adjusting block lengths before feeding them to the Eltomatic(s). This process eliminates rest pieces, reducing waste and increasing yield. By enhancing material efficiency, the system improves cost-effectiveness while supporting a more sustainable production process.

Add Block Buffer / Shuffle System

Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation by integrating a block buffer system. If issues arise at the log deck or block saw, the Eltomatic can continue receiving blocks from these buffer positions. For optimal performance, the Eltomatic operates best with blocks of 200 mm (8”) in diameter. The block buffer system shuffles blocks from two adjacent logs, optimizing flow by balancing differences in diameter, moisture, color, and overall quality.
